I am completely delighted to introduce 'Kings Weston House' a wedding venue situated on the outskirts of Bristol and very recently refurbished.
Kings Weston House was built
between 1712 and 1719, is a Grade 1 listed building and one of Bristol's hidden
treasures. Designed by the famous architect Sir John Vanbrugh who also designed
Blenhiem Palace, this private home has opened it's doors to weddings and events
from September 2013.
There are lots of very beautiful
rooms you can have a reception or get married in.
The Portrait gallery holds 100 for
ceremony and can also be used for reception drinks. Situated at the front of
the house this room is very light and airy. A real fairy tale room. Your guests
can watch you step out of your car or horse drawn carriage and walk down the
aisle.
The Vanbrugh suite holds 100 for
the ceremony and 120 for a wedding breakfast and has views across to Wales.
They also have a gentleman's style
bar and other smaller rooms suitable for all events.
