The Great Wedding Photographers of the south west..

Congratulations!!

Getting married is one of the most exciting times in your life so try not to get to bogged down on wedding info and have fun with the process. So the blog post today is hopefully gonna help you out with one area.

Who is gonna Snap you on one of the most important days of your life?

I'm choosing some of my very fav photographers that cover the The South West and beyond....

Amber has been taking photo's for as long as I've been a wedding CoOrdinator. We have always worked together and she is one of my suppliers that has never been taken off my list. She is friendly, professional and damn right lovely..

"My reportage style of photography is very natural, unobtrusive, and relaxed. By blending in effortlessly and becoming a part of the wedding day, I capture the special and spontaneous moments, to tell the perfect story and convey the happiness of the day"

Is such a gem. She knows how to get that shot.. She puts you at ease.. She is funny and fantastic.. You look at her photographs and say "enough said, she's booked"

"Marie is an internationally-published documentary and creative photographer who would love to capture your story.  Highly regarded by her peers as an experienced photojournalist, she has covered stories in places as far flung as Outer Mongolia. Her artistic documentary images tell the story of your day, combined with the option of more creative posed images.

Available for weddings at home and abroad, her signature style is candid and creative, combining reportage with creative posed shots"

I like Pete. I like his company ethos. I like that he cares not for fashion or fads. He loves love and that's why we all work in the wedding industry

The details are king. It’s not about capturing someone’s personality, we’re surely more complex than a single image. For me it’s about showing the atmosphere and emotion of the day. Those little in-between moments are what make a body of work compete, the times you can’t quite remember happening even though you remember the feeling. I see those, and I document them.

Kevin Belson

Is a really, really nice chap.. Professional, affordable and puts even the most camera shy couples at ease...

One of your greatest wedding presents will be your photography. For me wedding photography should be more than a record of an event. It is a celebration. it’s a day to remember, a day when you are looking the best you will look, when all eyes are on you. It’s a fantasy day. It’s a day that you have planned and dreamed about. For me, the photography is part of that celebration, part of the experience and should allow you to be a star for a day.

Martin Pemberton

Has a fantastic new Photobooth.. He is funny, friendly and hard working.. and he has got some awesome tattoo's and I always enjoy looking at his blog to see where he has been working..

I would describe my wedding photography as being modern and contemporary with a relaxed, informal feel.  I will use a mixture of natural and artificial light in a friendly and unobtrusive way to make you look your best.  I prefer not to go for heavily posed photographs but concentrate on providing you with timeless photographs of your most special day.  From time to time I will orchestrate situations to maximize the effort that has gone in to the planning of your wedding day.

Jo Hansford

Is a very experienced, warm natured complete professional. You will be in very safe hands knowing you have a collection of photographs to treasure for life. She has also recently launched an equine division of her photography company too.

Jo is a storyteller, capturing all the memories of your day to create a natural and stylish set of images. Shared kisses, stolen moments and the laughter and smiles of your perfect day all combine for an amazing collection of pictures.
Jo & Nic are available for UK and international weddings, and together they captured weddings in Italy, Spain and Portugal, as well as closer to home in Bristol, Bath, Somerset and the Cotswolds.

Ruth Gardner

Will be 100% dedicated to making your wedding special. She will always be on the end of a phone or email giving you the reassurance and advise you need.. A trustworthy supplier that's lovely to sit and drink tea with as well.

Whether you’re getting married in a stately home or a tipi in the middle of a field, having a traditional church wedding or an intimate civil partnership, I offer a quality and affordable service with a relaxed, friendly and professional approach to capturing the most beautiful moments from your big day.
